Kelly is hiring! We're looking for enthusiastic, motivated individuals to join our client’s team as a Materials Coordinator/Administrative Assistant in Brantford, ON! In this full-time, temporary role, you’ll help our client with their administrative needs. What You’ll Do Provide general administrative support to the Materials Department to ensure efficient daily operations. Coordinate and prepare documentation required for export shipments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with requirements. Assist in developing and maintaining policies procedures and instructions manuals to assure compliance with import and export laws, regulations, administrative practices, and supply chain security. Creating and sending purchase orders, checking for confirmations and pricing, monitor order status to ensure timely delivery of materials. Communicate with suppliers and assist with the coordination and tracking of inbound materials Work and assist with corporate buyers on projects. Assist the Buying and Planning teams, providing backup support as required to ensure continuity of operations. Helping team members to achieve overall department and company goals. Maintain confidentiality and support continuous quality improvement initiatives while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Collaborate effectively with team members and contribute to achieving organizational goals. Follow all established safety rules, procedures, and guidelines; Report all safety concerns, hazards, incidents, or unsafe conditions promptly to the appropriate supervisor or management personnel. What We’re Looking For Completion of or currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in related field would be an asset. Supply chain, and/or administrative experience or interest would be an asset. Knowledge with BaaN Systems and Oracle is an asset. Strong communication, organizational, time management and problem-solving skills. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office. Valid license or relevant certification, as required for the position Relevant certifications in supply chain, procurement, logistics, inventory management, or related fields are preferred. Strong attention to detail & proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal.
