We are seeking experienced Senior Agile Coaches to support a large-scale enterprise transformation within a major financial services organization. The organization is entering the next phase of a significant operating model transformation and is looking for senior-level Agile Coaches who can work directly with teams, Product Owners, business and technology stakeholders, and senior leadership to drive meaningful changes in how work is planned, structured, governed, and delivered. This is not a traditional Scrum Master, Agile Project Manager, or delivery coordination role. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience coaching organizations through large-scale Agile transformations, particularly helping complex enterprises transition from traditional/waterfall delivery toward Agile and product-oriented operating models. The role will focus on behavioral change, Agile maturity, organizational coaching, leadership alignment, and embedding sustainable ways of working across the enterprise. Job Title: Senior Agile Coach, Enterprise Transformation Location: Toronto, ON (hybrid) Duration: 12 Months (Possible Extension/Conversion) Responsibilities Coach teams and leadership through the adoption of a new Agile operating model and ways of working. Support the transition from traditional/waterfall delivery toward Agile and product-based delivery models. Coach senior leaders, Product Owners, delivery teams, and cross-functional stakeholders on Agile principles, practices, and behaviors. Influence leadership through the organizational, cultural, and behavioral changes associated with Agile transformation. Assess current team practices and identify opportunities to improve Agile maturity, collaboration, delivery effectiveness, and accountability. Help teams change behaviors and working practices rather than simply implementing Agile ceremonies. Facilitate workshops, coaching sessions, planning activities, retrospectives, and transformation discussions. Identify organizational barriers and resistance to change and coach stakeholders through challenges. Support the effective adoption of Jira, Confluence, Kanban, and other Agile delivery practices. Partner with business and technology leadership to embed sustainable Agile practices across a large, complex enterprise. Use Agile metrics and delivery insights to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Help teams understand how their work aligns with the broader operating model and enterprise transformation objectives. Coach multiple teams and stakeholders while maintaining alignment with enterprise-level transformation goals. Qualifications 8+ years of experience working in Agile environments, with significant experience as an Agile Coach, Enterprise Agile Coach, or Agile Transformation Consultant. Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale enterprise Agile transformations. Proven experience helping organizations transition from waterfall/traditional delivery models to Agile ways of working. Financial services or banking experience is required. Demonstrated experience coaching both delivery teams and senior leadership. Strong understanding of organizational change and the behavioral aspects of Agile transformation. Experience working within large, complex enterprise organizations. Ability to influence senior stakeholders and challenge established ways of working. Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and scaled Agile frameworks and practices. Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence. Strong facilitation, communication, stakeholder management, mentoring, and coaching skills. Ability to operate effectively at both the strategic/organizational level and hands-on team level. Preferred Qualifications Agile certifications such as SAFe, SPC, CSM, PSM, PMI-ACP, or equivalent. Experience with Product Operating Models and/or Value Stream Management. Lean Portfolio Management experience. Organizational Change Management experience. Experience coaching multiple teams within a scaled Agile environment. Experience establishing or supporting Agile Centers of Excellence or Communities of Practice. Exposure to digital, cloud, data, AI, or broader technology transformation programs.
