Financial Reporting & Trade Data Analyst 📍 Toronto, ON (Hybrid: 4 Days Onsite, 1 Day Remote) 💰 $42/hour 📅 12-Month Contract (Potential Extension) 🚀 Start Date: ASAP Are you a finance or accounting professional looking to expand your experience within Capital Markets and trade operations? We are seeking a detail-oriented analyst to join a collaborative team supporting trade agreement data, financial reporting, and regulatory processes within a leading financial services organization. This role offers excellent exposure to securities, trade agreements, collateral management, and reporting functions in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Calculate and analyze FX P&L and trade exposures Review, maintain, and update trade agreement data Support regulatory, trade maintenance, and investigation requests Assist with financial reporting and accounting-related activities Analyze and reconcile large datasets Maintain data quality across multiple downstream systems Prepare reports and perform ad hoc analysis using Excel Meet established service levels and reporting deadlines Relevant Areas of Exposure Experience with any of the following is considered an asset: Securities and Capital Markets operations Trade Operations Collateral management ISDA Agreements Credit Support Annexes (CSA) Repurchase Agreements (Repos) Securities Lending Agreements Required Qualifications University degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related discipline 5-7 years of relevant professional experience Financial reporting experience Securities industry experience Strong accounting knowledge Experience working with large volumes of data Strong Excel and analytical skills Preferred Qualifications CPA, CFA, or other relevant finance/accounting designation Banking or Capital Markets experience Trade Operations or collateral management experience Familiarity with financial agreements and documentation Soft Skills & Competencies Exceptional attention to detail Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities Quick learner with a proactive mindset Receptive to feedback and continuous improvement Excellent communication and teamwork skills Why Apply? Requirements

Requires a university degree in accounting, finance, commerce, economics, or a related discipline, along with 5–7 years of relevant experience, financial reporting and securities industry experience, and strong accounting knowledge. Candidates should have strong Excel, data analysis, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; a CPA, CFA, or relevant experience in banking, capital markets, trade operations, or collateral management is preferred.
