Job Description As a Full-Time Flooring Sales Associate, you will assist customers with their flooring projects by recommending the right products and solutions to meet their needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in flooring sales, flooring installation, or a related sales environment, along with strong customer service and communication skills. This role focuses on sales, customer service, and product knowledge within the Flooring Department, while also supporting other areas of the store as needed. This is a full-time role requiring flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends as scheduled. Responsibilities Drive sales through customer engagement, suggestive selling, and product knowledge Understand customers' needs and recommend the best solutions for their projects Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, and flooring products Take initiative and confidently lead customer interactions Produce quotes, material lists, and follow-up on sales opportunities Demonstrate high standards of safety and customer service Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally Continually learn about products, installation methods, and market trends Qualifications Experience in flooring sales, flooring installation, retail sales, or a related customer-focused environment preferred Strong communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team High attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to lift to 55 lbs. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends Ability to learn and operate the applicable computer system (D365) used to process orders Grade 12 diploma or equivalent required About Us Founded in 1882, J.D. Requirements

Candidates need strong communication and customer service skills, attention to detail, the ability to work independently and with a team, lift up to 55 pounds, work a flexible schedule, and learn to use D365.
