WHY JOIN RED ARROW? * Unionized position with seniority-based scheduling * Competitive earnings with mileage-based pay for scheduled line-runs * Hourly compensation for training and charter assignments. * Paid training and orientation * Paid overnight accommodations and per diems * Travel Perks Across Alberta & BC * Health & Dental Benefits Package & RRSP contribution program * Paid uniforms, including winter uniforms * Uniform dry-cleaning program * Stable employment with an industry-leading transportation company * Opportunity to travel throughout Alberta while getting paid to do what you enjoy WHAT YOU'LL DO * Safely operate Red Arrow motorcoaches on scheduled line-runs, charter services, and special assignments throughout Alberta. * Deliver exceptional customer service while creating a welcoming and professional travel experience. * Conduct pre-trip, enroute, and post-trip vehicle inspections. * Assist passengers with baggage and travel-related inquiries. * Load, unload, and secure luggage and parcels. * Adhere to assigned schedules, routes, company policies, and safety procedures. * Maintain accurate electronic logs and required documentation. * Safely navigate varying weather, traffic, and roadway conditions. * Represent Red Arrow and Keolis Canada in a professional and cordial manner both on and off the road. Please note: As part of the selection process, candidates will be required to complete a Practical Driving Assessment and demonstrate safe driving practices. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR * Valid Class 1 or Class 2Q Driver's Licence with Air Brake Endorsement. * Minimum five (5) years of commercial driving experience. * Previous passenger transportation experience is strongly preferred. * Clean Driver's Abstract and commitment to safe driving practices. * Strong customer service and communication skills. * Professional appearance and positive attitude. * Sound judgment and decision-making abilities. * Ability to work independently and effectively manage time. * Ability to assist passengers with luggage and meet the physical requirements of the position. * Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight assignments as required. Please note: Compensation, benefits, premiums, and employment provisions will be governed by the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING: * Professional motorcoach operations * Public transit operations * Charter or tour services * Passenger transportation environments * Customer-facing transportation roles * Bilingual communication skills Please note: Preference may be given to candidates with previous passenger transportation experience and a demonstrated commitment to customer service. Requirements
Candidates must hold a valid Class 1 or Class 2Q Driver's Licence with an Air Brake Endorsement and have at least five years of commercial driving experience. The role requires a clean driver's abstract and the ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
