Bus Driver 990 Saskatoon Avenue, Prince Rupert Permanent, Part-Time| Shifts available 7-days a week | HandyDart, Transit & Charter runs available Hop Aboard and Drive a Difference! Looking to make a meaningful impact in your community? In Prince Rupert, you’ll take on a dynamic role operating both transit buses and HandyDART buses. From providing reliable transportation across town or further down the road, to supporting seniors and individuals with disabilities with door-to-door service, your work will help keep the community connected. This role is about more than just driving, it’s about offering safe, respectful service, supporting independence, and ensuring every passenger feels valued. What You’ll Do: * Safely transport passengers and provide door-to-door assistance when required * Comfortable travelling out of town for scheduled charter work * Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and securing mobility aids * Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness * Operate a two-way radio and manage fares accurately * Maintain a safe and harassment-free environment for everyone * Report any incidents, vehicle defects, or passenger safety concerns * Fuel, wash, and check fluid levels of the vehicle * Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle as required by Provincial legislation and record any minor vehicle defects onto the vehicle daily What We’re Looking For: * Valid Driver's License – Class 1 or 2 with air endorsement required * Ability to pass the required enhanced criminal record check, and drug & alcohol test * Provide a clean driver's abstract * Ability to work independently and interact politely with the public and staff * Physically able to perform all job duties * Exceptional customer service skills Bonus Points if You Have: * Previous transit experience What We Offer: Permanent, Part-Time| Shifts available 7 days a week | Flexibility with your Schedule | Charter Work Hourly Rates * Transit Bus: $30.60/hour * HandyDART: $29.30 /hour * Luggage Truck: $26.50/hour About Keolis: Keolis Canada is a leader in public transportation, with over 2,000 employees dedicated to providing safe, reliable, and sustainable multimodal mobility solutions across the country. Requirements
Requires a valid Class 1 or 2 driver's license with air endorsement and the ability to pass criminal record and drug/alcohol screenings. Candidates must be physically capable of performing job duties and possess strong customer service skills.
