Support Workers ( North & South of River )

KI Health Services is recruiting for Disability Support Workers who have experience in home settings and working with clients with low to high care needs. You will be responsible for working directly with people with disabilities to engage in community access activities and support and encourage the clients I independent skill building with the home. These activities are designed to enrich the clients independence and confidence in their own home, to maintain family & friends interactions and to enhance community inclusion, meeting their short and long term goals. Willingness to provide assistance with light domestic duties and meal preparation. Supporting clients to engage and participate in their community other duties as required from time to time ‍

Provide direct support to individuals with disabilities to enhance their independence and confidence within their homes. Facilitate community inclusion and assist clients in achieving their short and long-term lifestyle goals.

Candidates should have a can-do attitude, reliability, and experience working in disability and mental health environments. Ability to provide daily living assistance and promote client choice and independence is essential.
