Backhoe Operator

Kidco Construction is looking for a skilled and dependable Rubber Tire Backhoe Operator to join our Foundation Excavation division for the 2026 season. Our Ideal Candidate: * Has experience in backfilling, compacting, loading trucks, digging trenches, etc. * Is able to read site drawings and plans. * Is willing to perform a variety of tasks, including using a rubber tire backhoe for various purposes, using a laser to shoot grade, setting up and taking down temporary fencing, and directing tandem traffic to efficiently remove excess materials. * Is capable of physically demanding tasks such as bending, crouching, lifting, etc. * Works well in a team setting and is a team player. * Has reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. Operate a rubber tire backhoe for excavation tasks including digging trenches, backfilling, and loading trucks. Additional duties include shooting grade with a laser, managing temporary fencing, and directing traffic for material removal.

Candidates must have experience with backhoe operation and the ability to read site plans. A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the physical ability to perform demanding labor are required.
