The educator is responsible for implementing an emergent curriculum and maintaining detailed documentation of child development. They will also support children's emotional and physical well-being while collaborating with professional therapists and team members.

Responsibilities * Maintain documentation, reporting and record keeping * Implement an Emergent Curriculum * Support children’s emotional, physical, or behavioural well being; while helping to develop their social, emotional, cognitive and physical skills * Maintain attendance, and health and safety checks * Work with professionals, such as Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists as necessary * Support children through transitions in and out of the classrooms * Meet all classroom ratios as outlined * Participate and interact in team meetings and workshops Specifications * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels with children, parents and co-workers. * Ability to utilize computer systems for all documentation, reporting, and classroom operations * Strong collaborator and team player * Ability to take initiative in and out of the classroom * Strong problem-solving skills Qualifications * ECE certified (Level 2 or 3) * Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check * Valid Standard Child Care First Aid and CPR Level B * Ability to push, pull and lift up- to 45 pounds What we offer Be recognized for your contribution, your dedication and hard work, and go home knowing you’ve helped the world progress. * Comprehensive benefits package (Medical / Dental / Vision exam) 100% covered by the company * Positive work environment with encouraging team members and opportunities for career advancement * 35% off our child care services and receive 20 days of FREE back up child care per year! Requirements

Candidates must hold an ECE certification (Level 2 or 3) and possess valid First Aid and CPR credentials. A criminal record and vulnerable sector check are mandatory, along with the physical ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
