At Kids & Company, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part-Time Early Childhood Educator (Level 2 or 3) to join our team at our Central Edmonton location. We are looking for an educator who is passionate about supporting children's growth and development, demonstrates empathy and professionalism, and is committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. RESPONSIBILITIES * Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and record keeping. * Implement engaging and developmentally appropriate programming based on children's interests and needs. * Support children's emotional, physical, social, and cognitive development. * Conduct attendance tracking and health and safety checks. * Collaborate with families and external professionals, such as Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists, as required. * Support children through daily routines and transitions. * Ensure compliance with Alberta licensing regulations and maintain required educator-to-child ratios. * Participate actively in team meetings, training sessions, and workshops. * Foster a positive, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment. SPECIFICATIONS * Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues. * Strong organizational and documentation skills. * Comfortable using computer systems for reporting, documentation, and classroom operations. * Collaborative team player with a positive attitude. * Ability to take initiative and work independently when required. * Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. QUALIFICATIONS * Alberta Early Childhood Educator Level 2 or Level 3 Certification required. * Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search. * Valid Standard Child Care First Aid and CPR certification. * Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 45 pounds. * Previous childcare experience is considered an asset. Requirements
