WE ARE CURRENTLY RECRUITING A FULL-TIME SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER FOR OUR CORE BANKING TRANSFORMATION PROJECT. Reporting functionally to the Chief Operating Officer and working within the governance of the executive sponsorship group, you will lead the integrated delivery of Kindred’s core banking transformation. You will bring business, technology and vendor workstreams together around one executable plan and guide the project within an agile environment from mobilization through implementation, cutover and stabilization. This role is accountable for disciplined delivery, clear decision-making and readiness across the organization, under the direction of the Program Manager who retains overall program leadership and executive alignment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Collaboratively develop and maintain the integrated project plan, including scope, outcomes, milestones, schedule, resources, budget forecasts, dependencies, acceptance criteria and critical path. * Lead coordinated delivery across business, technology, data, risk, finance, member experience and vendor workstreams, clarifying responsibilities and resolving competing priorities. * Establish an effective reporting cadence for the Program Manager and executive sponsorship group, with concise information on progress, financials, risks, issues, decisions and required action. * Maintain disciplined risk, issue, assumption, dependency, decision and change-control practices; resolve barriers within the role’s authority and escalate matters early when program or executive action is required. * Coordinate vendor and systems-integrator delivery against agreed plans, deliverables and acceptance requirements, identifying commercial, resourcing and schedule concerns before they affect the critical path. * Integrate requirements, process design, data conversion, interfaces, testing, operational controls, cutover, contingency planning, business readiness and post-launch stabilization into the overall delivery approach. * Partner with change, communications, training and operational leaders to prepare employees and members for transition and to minimize disruption to service. * Track project costs, resource capacity, quality measures and expected outcomes; provide evidence-based recommendations and maintain complete, audit-ready project records. * Contribute practical lessons, standards and tools to Kindred’s Project Management Community of Practice and help strengthen enterprise delivery maturity. WHAT TO BRING You are an experienced project leader who can bring order to a complex, high-consequence transformation. You see the whole delivery system while staying close enough to the work to test assumptions, surface gaps and keep commitments moving. You communicate credibly with executives, operational teams, technical experts and vendors, and you know how to lead across functions when most contributors do not report to you. You remain calm under pressure, make sound judgments with incomplete information and create the transparency needed for timely decisions. PLUS YOU BRING YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE * Post-secondary education in business, technology, finance or a related field. * Seven or more years of progressive project management experience in an agile environment, including leadership of complex, enterprise-wide business and technology transformations in financial services or another highly regulated environment. * Demonstrated accountability for at least one major, multi-year platform implementation through planning, execution, go-live and stabilization. * Project Management Professional certification or a comparable credential is preferred. * Strong understanding of project management disciplines, including planning, governance, risk and issue management, dependency management and change control * Expertise in systems, training, process improvement all beneficial * Organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities * Stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to engage effectively from operational teams through senior management * A delivery-focused approach, with the ability to identify problems, seek resolution and drive actions to completion WHY KINDRED We believe that your life is bigger than any job, so we’ll work together to achieve work-life quality and care for your overall wellness.
