We are looking for a Heavy Duty Truck & Trailer Mechanic to join our Fleet Repair and Maintenance team in Winnipeg, MB. As part of our experienced and cohesive team, the Mechanic will be responsible for routine preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs to our fleet of company owned trailers of a variety of configurations used in various applications. You will be required to perform diagnoses and repairs to mechanical, air, hydraulic and electrical system defects. In addition, you will be repairing and servicing off-road equipment. The full-time, permanent shift offers 40 hours per week. Can discuss shift option at an interview. Position Requirements: * Experienced Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic * Experience repairing and servicing tractor & trailing equipment * Experience repairing and servicing off-road equipment is an asset * Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with team members * Must have own tools and safety boots (allowances provided annually for both) * Must be physically fit (able to lift approx. 50 lbs., kneeling and crouching for extended periods of time) * The successful candidate will require reliable transportation as our facility is located outside of public transport *Pre-employment and post-incident controlled substance & alcohol testing is mandatory for this position as it is deemed safety sensitive. Perform routine preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a variety of company-owned trailers. Diagnose and fix defects in mechanical, air, hydraulic, and electrical systems, including servicing off-road equipment.

Requirements

Candidates must be experienced Heavy Duty Truck Mechanics with a background in tractor, trailer, and off-road equipment repair. Must possess their own tools and safety boots, be physically fit, and have reliable transportation.
