Civil Construction Labourer / Traffic Control Bowerman Construction / Knappett Industries is happy to offer an opportunity for a Civil Construction Labourer and a Traffic Control Person for temporary work in Bamfield, BC. We are seeking positive, experienced and energetic people to join our diverse and dynamic team. All Bowerman personnel must display strong work ethic, a positive attitude, good problem solving skills, and be able to work cohesively and selflessly within in a team environment. Responsibilities: Follow all safety protocols and contribute to the success of the safety program Perform tasks as required on construction site Operate and maintain small tools Shoveling and site clean up Perform other duties as required, requested or assigned Requirements: Ability to take and follow instruction Valid BCCSA traffic control ticket Professional demeanor when dealing with the public Able to work outside in all-weather at all times of the year Ability to work as a team as well as independently when required Physically fit and able to lift 50 pounds or more Able to do extensive physical labour Valid provincial driver’s license Assets: Recent working experience in similar role Two years’ experience in civil construction First aid training This position is compensated at an hourly rate. Only local residents of Bamfield will be considered for this role.
