As Roofing Foreman, you will lead the charge in directing your team to be solutions-oriented, accountable, and serving our customers’ needs to the highest standard. The roofing foreman is responsible for leading and supervising a roofing crew to ensure the successful completion of roofing projects. This role involves coordinating tasks, managing resources, and maintaining a safe working environment. The roofing foreman must have extensive knowledge of roofing systems, construction techniques, and safety protocols. Project Planning: Collaborate with project managers to understand project specifications, timelines, and requirements. Plan and organize tasks to ensure efficient project execution. Leadership and Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of roofing workers, assigning tasks and responsibilities. Provide guidance, training, and support to crew members. Motivate the team to meet project goals and deadlines. Quality Control: Ensure that roofing installations meet quality standards and adhere to industry best practices. Conduct inspections to identify and address any issues or defects. Safety Compliance: Enforce and promote strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations. Conduct safety meetings and training for the roofing crew. Investigate and report any accidents or incidents promptly. Resource Management: Manage and allocate resources efficiently, including materials, equipment, and manpower. Coordinate deliveries and inventory to meet project requirements. Communication: Maintain open communication with project managers. Report progress, issues, and challenges regularly. Address and resolve any concerns or conflicts within the team. Problem Solving: Identify and address issues or challenges that may arise during the roofing project. Propose and implement solutions to overcome obstacles. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work hours, materials used, and other project-related data. Complete necessary paperwork and reports.
