Knix is searching for an Assistant Merchant to work closely with the Merchandising and Planning teams to bring great products to our customers. Reporting to a Merchandise Manager, the Assistant Merchant will play a pivotal role in assortment creation, purchase order management, and data coordination. The Opportunity Assortment Creation: Support the merchandising team in developing and executing merchandising strategies. Support with the setup and maintenance of line plans and assortment plans Item Creation and Data Management: Assist in creating SKUs and UPCs. Input and maintain SKU lists across platforms and reconcile any discrepancies. Including costing, size scales, colour codes and item attributes within Netsuite & Toolio Purchase Order Creation and Management: Handling the export and upload of purchase orders. Collaborate with the Sourcing team on PO adjustments Documentation and Reporting: Update weekly reports, and manage launch guides Collaboration: Build strong relationships with key partners and cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring smooth operations and supporting merchandising initiatives. Including Digi-Merch, Visual Merchandising, IT, and Marketing Other Duties: Manage market research, ad-hoc reporting, and miscellaneous projects as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Fashion Merchandising, Business or Management preferred Previous experience in merchandising, product management, or related roles, preferably in the apparel industry Intermediate knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables) and experience with merchandising software/tools (e.g., retail planning systems, product lifecycle management software, basic Adobe Illustrator) Strong analytical skills and proficiency in retail math Strong organizational skills Ability to communicate with cross-functional partners and build consensus Creative thinking and a passion for staying abreast of market trends and consumer preferences Compensation Starting at $55,000 annual salary Contract Length 12 months \n Compensation & Care Transparency is at the heart of everything we do, including how we pay. Requirements

Candidates should have a degree in Fashion Merchandising or Business and previous experience in apparel merchandising or product management. Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables) and retail math is required.
