Job summary

Engineering Posted May 22, 2026 Oakville, ON (Hybrid) or Remote in Canada Full-time Build real consumer apps. Use AI tools to accelerate your work. Kodeon owns and operates close to twenty consumer mobile apps — habit trackers, journals, fitness apps, meditation, brain training. Apps like Reflectly, Memorado, HabitMinder, WeBurn, Goals, and Moments of Space. Millions of downloads. A unified subscription platform (AppLife) tying it all together. We're hiring a Junior Developer to join the team and start shipping from day one. Why this role is different Most junior dev jobs put you in a queue behind layers of senior engineers and process. Not here. You'll be one of a small number of engineers working directly with our CTO and senior team, touching real production code in the first week. You'll work across three mobile stacks — native iOS (Swift/SwiftUI), Flutter, and React Native — so you'll learn fast and broadly. We also take AI-assisted development seriously. We don't just tolerate Claude Code, Cursor, and Copilot — we expect you to be fluent in them and use them as a primary part of how you work. If you've already adopted these tools for school or personal projects, you'll fit right in. What you'll do Ship features and fix bugs across our iOS, Flutter, and React Native apps Work with shared infrastructure: RevenueCat (subscriptions), Firebase (analytics, config, crash reporting), and our AppLife SDK Use AI tools to plan, write, review, and debug code — every day Collaborate with senior engineers in code review and design discussions Help us release updates to the App Store and Google Play What we're looking for A recent CS / Software Engineering degree (or equivalent demonstrable experience) At least one mobile app you've built — coursework, capstone, side project, anything you can talk us through in detail Working knowledge of Swift, Flutter/Dart, or React Native (one is enough to start; we'll help you pick up the others) Real fluency with AI development tools — Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar. You should be comfortable structuring prompts, reading AI-generated code critically, and using AI to accelerate research and debugging Solid Git fundamentals, comfort reading unfamiliar codebases, and good written communication Legally eligible to work in Canada Nice to have Apps published on the App Store or Google Play Experience with Firebase, RevenueCat, StoreKit 2, or CI tools like GitHub Actions / Xcode Cloud Curiosity about MCP servers, agents, or other emerging AI tooling A bit of backend exposure (Go, Python, Node) A public GitHub or portfolio Kodeon is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds. Apply for this role ↓
