Job summary

Strong hands-on experience with: Workday Orchestration (including event-driven patterns) Workday APIs: SOAP and REST Workday integration tools such as EIB, RaaS, and/or Studio Solid understanding of: Integration patterns (sync/async, pub-sub concepts, event-driven architectures) Data transformation formats: JSON, XML, XSLT API testing and debugging tools (e.g., Postman or equivalent) Experience building reliable error-handling, monitoring, and reconciliation mechanisms. Strong documentation skills (interface specs, data mappings, runbooks, troubleshooting guides). Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Workday Extend app development and deployment lifecycle. Experience integrating Workday with IAM/Provisioning solutions (e.g., Azure AD, SailPoint, Okta) using event triggers. Familiarity with middleware/iPaaS tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi) and hybrid patterns with Workday Orchestration. Knowledge of Workday security concepts: integration system users, domains, business process security policies. Exposure to audit/compliance-driven environments (SOX, GDPR, SOC reporting). Key Skills (Technical & Functional): Workday Orchestration: event triggers, flow design, exception handling, observability APIs: Workday SOAP services, REST endpoints, authentication patterns, pagination, throttling Extend: app UX + service integration, orchestration handoffs Data: JSON/XML, transformations, data mapping, reconciliation Operations: monitoring, logging, alerting, incident response, RCA Soft skills: stakeholder management, clear communication, ownership, documentation Typical Deliverables: Integration architecture and interface design documents API and event trigger specifications End-to-end orchestration flows and monitoring dashboards Runbooks, operational procedures, and support playbooks Test scripts, test results, and deployment plans
