Role Description We are hiring a Web3 Hedge Fund Analyst to support hedge fund research, digital asset analysis, market intelligence, and investment-focused reporting across Web3 and cryptocurrency markets. This is a full-time, paid remote role based in Canada focused on Web3 hedge fund research, crypto markets, digital asset strategy, portfolio analysis, and blockchain finance. The Web3 Hedge Fund Analyst will monitor crypto markets, research investment opportunities, support portfolio and fund strategy, and prepare market intelligence materials across cryptocurrencies, DeFi protocols, tokenized assets, stablecoins, blockchain infrastructure, and crypto-native financial products. This role is ideal for someone with strong interest in Web3 investing, hedge fund research, digital assets, blockchain technology, and emerging financial markets. Responsibilities • Research Web3 markets, cryptocurrency assets, token ecosystems, DeFi protocols, stablecoins, blockchain infrastructure, and digital asset investment opportunities • Monitor token performance, liquidity conditions, capital flows, volatility, investor sentiment, market cycles, and on-chain ecosystem developments • Support hedge fund research, portfolio analysis, allocation review, risk awareness, and opportunity evaluation across crypto markets • Prepare investment research notes, market intelligence updates, fund research summaries, portfolio briefs, and digital asset reports • Track developments across crypto exchanges, DeFi platforms, Web3 startups, venture activity, regulatory updates, institutional adoption, and blockchain industry events • Evaluate opportunities across DeFi, tokenized assets, Web3 infrastructure, stablecoins, protocols, layer-1 and layer-2 networks, and crypto-native products • Collaborate with team members on investment research, portfolio analysis, blockchain education, market intelligence, and digital asset projects • Maintain organized research files, market trackers, opportunity pipelines, token watchlists, fund notes, and Web3 intelligence resources Qualifications • Strong interest in Web3 investing, cryptocurrency markets, hedge fund research, digital assets, blockchain technology, DeFi, stablecoins, and tokenized finance • Familiarity with crypto market research, investment analysis, portfolio strategy, token analysis, blockchain networks, or digital asset ecosystems • Understanding of liquidity, capital flows, token sectors, volatility, market cycles, investor sentiment, portfolio exposure, and financial market concepts • Familiarity with blockchain explorers, crypto analytics tools, DeFi dashboards, TradingView, portfolio tools, market data platforms, or financial research tools is a plus • Strong research, analytical, organizational, communication, and strategic thinking skills • Ability to explain Web3 market trends, investment themes, digital asset risks, and portfolio opportunities clearly • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while managing multiple research and analysis priorities • Previous experience in blockchain communities, investment research, crypto research, fintech, financial markets, portfolio analysis, asset management, or Web3 projects is helpful Benefits • Remote work environment • Exposure to Web3 hedge fund research, crypto investment analysis, digital asset markets, DeFi, stablecoins, tokenized assets, and blockchain finance • Opportunity to build experience across fund research, portfolio analysis, market intelligence, blockchain education, and digital asset investment strategy • Collaborative, research-driven, education-focused, and blockchain-oriented environment • Opportunities for professional development and growth Compensation Salary range: CAD105,000 - CAD115,000 per year depending on experience

The analyst will conduct research on Web3 markets, DeFi protocols, and digital assets to support hedge fund investment strategies. They are responsible for monitoring token performance, preparing market intelligence reports, and evaluating investment opportunities across blockchain networks.

Candidates should have a strong interest or experience in Web3 investing, cryptocurrency markets, and portfolio strategy. Proficiency with blockchain analytics tools and the ability to work independently in a remote environment are essential.
