S26-18 – (1 Vacancy) KMC specializes in high-performance alloys and friction materials from raw materials to finished products under one roof in Orillia, Canada. Manufacturing unique heat-resistant alloys and high-nickel/chrome alloys primarily for the petrochemical industries, Kubota leads the industry in quality and advanced technology. As per customer requirements, Kubota designs and casts centrifugal pipes and static castings of fittings, which are then machined, welded (Automatic, Semi-Automatic, Orbital & Manual), GTAW, GMAW, SMAW, followed by in-house NDT (RT, PT, VT), in-house DT, R&D lab, as well as hydro testing. Summary: Responsible for the security, maintenance and services of work facilities for Kubota Materials Canada Corporation. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES (BUT NOT LIMITED TO): * Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards * Inspect buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations * Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs * Supervise all facilities staff (custodians, technicians, groundskeepers etc.) and external contractors * Control activities such as waste disposal, building security etc. * Handle insurance plans and service contracts * Keep warranty, PHSR, drawings, critical component list, and ensure current Safety Data Sheets are kept * Assist with site environmental conformance as well as hazardous material programs * Plan maintenance employees schedule as per forecasted workloads and priority areas * Ensure compliance to company safety and security standards, procedures and policies * Conduct safety inspections as scheduled on all facility systems * Maintain exterior maintenance components (gates, automation overhead doors) * Attend to emergency issues, outside business hours, as required * Manage goals and objectives to ensure alignment with the overall Senior Manager, Operations * Support Kubota Global Identity, with the Brand and Spirit statements of Kubota Materials Canada Corporation * Other related duties, as required What we offer: * Paid benefits (Health, Dental, LTD) and Pension Plan * 2 weeks vacation per year to start * Access to an EAP Program that offers mental health supports, resources and more * Continuous professional development opportunities to support career growth EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: * Certification in Mechanical Maintenance and/or Electrician trade with a Government of Ontario registration is required * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Diploma in Engineering Technology would be beneficial. * Minimum 10 years experience working in facilities management * Minimum 3 years experience in a leadership role * Prior experience using cranes, lifts and working in confined spaces based on OHSA standards required * Previous experience managing HVAC systems for large manufacturing facility * Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system We thank all applicants for their interest in Kubota Materials; however, only those under consideration will be contacted. What you’ll do

Responsible for the security, maintenance, and general services of the work facilities for Kubota Materials Canada Corporation. This includes supervising facilities staff, managing equipment upkeep, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Requirements

Requires a certification in Mechanical Maintenance or Electrician trade and at least 10 years of facilities management experience, including 3 years in leadership. A bachelor's degree in Engineering or a diploma in Engineering Technology is considered beneficial.
