Job summary

Job Summary Seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level business intelligence and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, ThoughtSpot, Databricks, Azure Cloud, SQL, and Alteryx, with experience transforming complex data into meaningful insights that support business decision-making. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and scorecards using Power BI. Develop self-service analytics solutions leveraging ThoughtSpot for business users. Build and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Services and Databricks. Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) activities using Alteryx and SQL. Create and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and data models. Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to gather reporting and analytics requirements. Design scalable semantic models and implement best practices for Power BI datasets. Monitor report performance and optimize dashboard responsiveness. Ensure data quality, data governance, security, and compliance with banking standards. Support production deployments, troubleshooting, and enhancements of BI solutions. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and analytical solutions. Required Skills & Experience Technical Skills Strong experience with Power BI (DAX, Power Query, Data Modeling, Power BI Service). Experience with ThoughtSpot for search-driven analytics and reporting. Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Storage, and Azure SQL. Strong proficiency in Databricks, Spark, and data engineering concepts. Advanced knowledge of SQL for data analysis, reporting, and optimization. Experience with Alteryx Designer for data preparation, transformation, and workflow automation. Understanding of ETL/ELT frameworks and data warehousing concepts. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in the Banking or Financial Services industry. Knowledge of data governance, data security, and regulatory compliance. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Familiarity with enterprise reporting and analytics environments. Understanding of cloud-based data architectures and big data platforms. Key Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality solutions. Experience Required 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Data Engineering. 3+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI development. Experience with Databricks, Azure, SQL, ThoughtSpot, and Alteryx in enterprise environments. Educational Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field. Relevant certifications in Microsoft Power BI, Azure, Databricks, or Alteryx are preferred.
