Job summary

Role Summary Seeking an experienced Infrastructure Support Engineer responsible for supporting and maintaining mission-critical banking applications hosted on Unix/Linux environments. The role involves administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and support of AutoSys job scheduling, IBM MQ messaging infrastructure, and Oracle WebLogic application servers while ensuring high availability and operational excellence across production environments. Key Responsibilities Provide L2/L3 production support for banking applications hosted on Unix/Linux platforms. Monitor and maintain application health, infrastructure availability, and system performance. Administer and support Oracle WebLogic Application Server environments. Manage and troubleshoot IBM MQ queues, channels, queue managers, and messaging flows. Support and maintain AutoSys job scheduling, including job creation, modification, monitoring, and issue resolution. Perform incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and problem management activities. Coordinate with application development, database, middleware, and infrastructure teams for issue resolution. Monitor production systems using enterprise monitoring tools and respond to alerts promptly. Execute deployment, patching, and configuration changes in compliance with change management processes. Analyse system logs and performance metrics to identify and resolve operational issues. Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and operational standards within the banking environment. Participate in on-call support and major incident management activities. Required Skills Unix/Linux Administration Strong experience in Unix/Linux production support environments. Shell scripting (Korn Shell/Bash). Process, file system, memory, and performance troubleshooting. Log analysis and system health monitoring. AutoSys, MQ & WebLogic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related discipline. 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure/Application Support. Experience supporting critical production applications in financial services is highly preferred.
