Job details

Full-Time | Remote | Contractor Company Description Kyma is transforming the furnished rental industry, making it easier for people to find a place to call home when life takes them somewhere new. From families displaced by unexpected events to professionals relocating for their next opportunity, we serve people at moments when a great housing experience matters. Role Description We’re looking for an AI-native product manager who turns customer challenges into intuitive customer experiences. Working closely with engineering, sales, and founders, you’ll own ideas from discovery through launch, test assumptions, and use customer feedback and data to guide decisions. Bring your curiosity, judgment, and drive to build—you’ll have the opportunity to shape our products and make a visible impact as Kyma grows. What You’ll Do Turn ideas into something people can try. Use AI tools and rapid prototyping to build working concepts, put them in front of teammates and customers, and learn before committing to a full build. Own products from ideation to launch. Move from an early opportunity to a clear direction, a successful release, and continued improvement. Stay close to customers. Gather feedback, uncover the problems behind requests, and turn what you learn into better product decisions. Make the work clear and buildable. Write the requirements, PRDs, and engineering tickets that turn a customer request, a bug you discovered, or an entirely new product into actionable work. Keep the team moving. Run standups and planning, clear blockers, manage dependencies, and keep delivery on track while adapting as new information emerges. Help shape how we build. Develop the tools and processes a small team needs to build AI-powered products and agentic workflows with speed and quality. Pitch in where it matters. We’re at a stage where everyone is close to every part of the work. Take initiative, step beyond your role when needed, and help the team move forward. What We’re Looking For You have strong product fundamentals. You’ve made decisions about what to build, why it matters, and what comes first—and delivered products to real customers. You can turn an ambiguous idea into a clear plan, write requirements engineers can build from, and keep a team moving. Your decisions reflect customer research, evidence, and a willingness to change your mind. You bring curiosity to the work. You ask thoughtful questions, dig into the details, and seek to understand how things actually work. You’re interested in the edge cases because they often reveal opportunities to build something better. You take initiative. When you want to know whether something works, you go find out. When something new comes up, whether that's a product opportunity, an industry change, or a tool you've never used, you dig in rather than wait. There's a whole team here to help, but we're looking for people who start on their own. You’re an AI-native builder. You use AI throughout your product work to explore ideas, prototype experiences, test assumptions, and accelerate delivery. You’ve built AI-powered products or workflows and can thoughtfully assess where AI creates value. You’re technically comfortable enough to be a strong engineering partner and eager to learn unfamiliar tools. You thrive on a small, growing team. You’re excited to work closely with the founder, contribute beyond a narrow job description, and help shape how Kyma builds. You bring enough structure to keep work on track while staying flexible as we learn. You communicate clearly and directly. You can explain a product decision, write a useful ticket, and have a thoughtful conversation with a customer. You keep people informed, make tradeoffs clear, and raise questions or concerns early. Bonus Points Experience in rental marketplaces, proptech, or insurtech, with an understanding of the customers and workflows in these industries. You’ve worked at an early-stage startup and enjoy the ownership, adaptability, and resourcefulness that come with building on a small team. You’ve shipped AI-native products and learned from how customers use them.
