Job summary

Job Title: Network Administrator (RDL - Research and Development Lab) Client: Private Sector Technology Company Duration: 6 contract with potential extension Location: Toronto, ON - Remote Job Overview We are seeking a Senior Network Administrator to support secure, isolated R&D lab environments. This is a hands-on role combining enterprise networking, Linux security/hardening, network segmentation, and secure privileged access. Responsibilities Configure and support switching, routing, VLANs, firewall rules, and SD-WAN Design and maintain secure network segmentation and isolated R&D lab environments Perform Linux hardening, SSH/PAM configuration, local RBAC, and secure account management Integrate Zscaler ZTNA, CyberArk vPAM, and virtualized Jump Hosts Implement secure audit logging and controlled access requirements Manage NAC/ClearPass onboarding and access controls Troubleshoot complex network, connectivity, and security issues Maintain network and security documentation RequirementsMust-Have Strong Linux administration and security hardening experience Advanced switching/routing, VLAN segmentation, and firewall experience Experience with SSH, PAM, RBAC, and secure access management Hands-on experience with NAC/ClearPass and network isolation Experience supporting secure R&D, lab, or engineering environments Nice-to-Have Zscaler ZTNA and CyberArk vPAM SD-WAN experience Virtualized Jump Host administration Experience with export-controlled or highly secured environments #IndKyn Please note this is for a contract position with one of our clients and not a fulltime employment role with Kyndryl Canada**
