JOB OPPORTUNITY – BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE (BDR). L’Enjeu: cap sur l’emploi is assisting a Canadian e-commerce company with the recruitment of a Business Development Representative (BDR). This position is conducted entirely in English. Therefore, excellent spoken and written English skills are essential. Position Overview The Business Development Representative (BDR) will work directly with management to identify and develop new business opportunities. The successful candidate will focus on prospecting potential clients, qualifying leads, following up on opportunities, maintaining accurate CRM records, and booking meetings to support the company's growth. Key Responsibilities Prospect and research potential brands, manufacturers, distributors, and importers. Conduct outreach (LinkedIn, email, phone) to generate new business opportunities. Qualify potential clients based on established criteria. Follow up consistently on leads and sales opportunities. Book meetings with qualified prospects for the management team. Maintain and update the CRM with accurate lead and client information. Assist with trade show and networking follow-up. Support the preparation of proposals, presentations, and client communications. Contribute to the achievement of qualified opportunity and new client targets. Qualifications Experience in sales, marketing, client services, account management, or business development. Strong sales ability and a results-oriented mindset. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Willingness to learn; Next Success will provide training on our services. Strong organizational and follow-up abilities. Professional and positive attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Bilingual English/French is an asset. Experience with Amazon, LinkedIn, CRM systems, eCommerce, or Walmart Marketplace is an asset. Compensation This is a sales position, and part of the compensation is tied to results. Base salary: $20 per hour. Performance bonus tied to qualified opportunities generated and new paying clients secured (the bonus structure will be clearly explained during onboarding).
