Job Title: Lead, Contract Administrator Job Location: Mirabel, QC or Enfield NS Job Code: 44756 Job Schedule: Day Shift Compensation Range: Between $88,500 - $138,500 CDN annually The Lead, Contract Administrator reports to the Senior Manager of Contracts. The successful incumbent is responsible for: Influencing successful business outcomes in order to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income and free cash flow for new and continuing programs. Providing business, contractual and risk mitigation strategy guidance. Analyzing new laws, regulations, and contract trends for potential impact on business unit goals and objectives. Protecting the interest of the company by understanding and interpreting contractual terms and conditions. Analyzing significant and/or unique contract requirements, special provisions, terms, and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations and corporate policies and procedures. Managing the contractual review of solicitations, proposal development, contract change control process, and overall contract administration. Establishing and maintaining primary contractual interface with the customer. Maximizing cash through innovative contract formation and negotiation to achieve business objectives. Essential Functions: Upon receiving requests to bid, review proposed terms and conditions to identify contractual and legal implications and provide appropriate comments to management. Manage large, complex project initiatives of substantial importance to the organization with minimal oversight or direction. Negotiate terms and conditions of each contract and document each step. Write contractual clauses and various project administration correspondence Ensure the follow-up of MAS billings and customer bill payments. Communicate/liaison with clients to gather comments on the company's performance. Contribute to identifying and developing new business opportunities. Ensure that risks in each project are covered by terms and conditions. Communicate within and outside of the organization to explain and influence changes to practices, processes, and approaches. Make significant improvements in processes, systems, or products. Explain, interpret, and gain cooperation on policies, procedures, and practices. Provide input into new products/processes and implements operational plans that have measurable impact on business or functional results. Draft, review and negotiate non-disclosure agreements. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Law and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience. Strong negotiations skills and knowledge of legal terms and conditions. Bilingual, French and English (oral and written). Business acumen and strong business writing skills. Preferred Additional Skills: 10 Years experience in reviewing, negotiating, drafting, and summarizing contractual agreements and terms. Experience with development contracts, production, sustainment, and services. Contract management experience in the Aerospace and Defence, international contracting, Canadian Government and US Government. Strong negotiations skills and experience including terms and conditions, requirements, pricing, Intellectual Property, data rights. Proficient in providing risk mitigation plans to programs related to source selection. Able to work and communicate effectively across internal and external functions. Able to work in a high-pressure environment, able to meet deadlines and expectations, able to multitask. Eligibility Criteria: Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program; Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO Secret security clearance; Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Requirements
