Job Purpose Located out of our Belleville, Ontario plant, the Quality Systems Supervisor has the general accountability for the ongoing development and maintenance of the CFIA recognized HACCP program, Quality Management Systems, FSSC and HALAL programs as well as other associated quality functions.Responsibility Responsible for the ongoing development and maintenance of all food safety/quality systems throughout the plant. Support Change Management through documentation changes Ensure compliance to regulatory food safety requirements and programs Responsible for managing and maintaining the Internal Quality Audit Program through coordinating audits, issuing audit findings and following corrective actions through to completion. Lead external customer and regulatory audits Provide necessary training within the facility to ensure compliance to the quality and food safety programs. Training includes CCP training, new employee orientation and annual refresher training. Oversee other food safety training. Compensation: As part of our commitment to fairness, trust, and transparency and our ambition to be an Employer of Choice, the base salary range for this position is: $70,100.00–$87,600.00 . Please note: Along with a comprehensive Total Rewards package, your actual base salary will be fair, competitive, and be based on your skills, experience, and qualifications.

What you’ll do

The Quality Systems Supervisor is responsible for developing and maintaining food safety and quality programs, including HACCP, FSSC, and HALAL. They also lead internal and external audits, manage documentation compliance, and provide training to plant staff.

Requirements

Candidates should have direct experience in the food manufacturing industry and hold formal HACCP Level 1 and Level 2 certifications. A university degree in food science, biotechnology, or a related field is preferred, along with strong leadership and computer skills.
