About the Organization Lake Shore Gold (a subsidiary of Pan American Silver) is located in Timmins, Ontario. The Bell Creek Complex, located approximately 20 kilometers northeast of Timmins, consists of an underground mine and processing facility. Mineralization is associated with the Porcupine-Destor fault system within the Abitibi greenstone belt, with ore mined by narrow vein longhole stoping methods. About The Opportunity We are looking to hire Engineering Graduate / Engineer in Training (EIT) to join our Bell Creek Mine in Porcupine, ON., on a full-time basis. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 8 hrs/day or 4 on, 3 off, 10hrs/day. Compensation: This position offers a salary range of $85,000 - $95,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience. Vacancy Status: This is an existing vacancy. The successful candidate may begin as soon as possible. Please note that this role requires relocation to the Timmins area and is not a camp-based position. As an Engineer in Training/Engineering Graduate, you will follow a rotation through various engineering functions (on surface and underground) that may include: surveying, ventilation, ground control, longhole planning, development design, scheduling and day-to-day tracking, and short-term planning. The role may include time embedded with various underground production crews in order to understand mine production roles firsthand. The following will be critical to successfully performing this role: Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering from an accredited University Seeking P.Eng. license with PEO when eligible Comprehensive knowledge of engineering principles, theories, and techniques as they apply to ore body evaluation and underground mine operations Proficiency in mine planning software (Deswik.CAD and Deswik.Sched) The applicant must be eligible to work in Canada Overall, you are a motivated team player who demonstrates compliance with all health and safety regulations. Requirements

Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering from an accredited university and be eligible to work in Canada. They should be seeking P.Eng. licensure with PEO when eligible, have comprehensive knowledge of engineering principles as applied to ore body evaluation and underground mining, and be proficient in Deswik.CAD and Deswik.Sched.
