The Quality Assurance Manager – Nuclear & Regulated Programs is responsible for the oversight and performance of the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance across regulated and high-risk work. Acting as a senior technical authority, this role leads audit strategy, quality governance, and supplier oversight, while ensuring alignment with Corporate Compliance and broader operational standards. Please note: This is an individual contributor role and does not include people management responsibilities. What you will be doing in the role of Quality Assurance Manager: Own and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring alignment with codes, standards, and customer requirements Define QA policies, procedures, and standards; guide Compliance Operations and QC on execution Lead NCR and CAPA processes, including requirements, reviews, investigations, and corrective actions Identify systemic quality issues through data analysis and escalate risks to leadership Develop and manage internal audit programs; ensure audit readiness across teams Lead external audits and act as the primary QA representative Establish supplier qualification requirements and support supplier quality reviews and audits Provide technical QA oversight for inspections and ITPs, ensuring compliance with standards Ensure traceability, document integrity, and revision control requirements are met Contribute QA insights to management reviews to assess system effectiveness Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement process enhancements Define and oversee requirements for NCR tracking, audits, and document control Establish QA data requirements, KPIs, and reporting to support decision-making and audits Define inspection standards and support resolution of quality issues Report QA performance, risks, and improvements to the Manager, Corporate Compliance Lead QA function within the compliance model, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives Act as the technical authority for QA, providing direction, coaching, and oversight to QA team members Support resolution of complex quality and compliance issues across the organization Knowledge and skills required for the role: University degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related discipline 10+ years of experience in regulated or high-risk quality environments Strong knowledge of CSA N299 / N285, ISO 9001, and ASME / Nuclear quality standards Demonstrated experience in: Quality system management, internal and external audits, supplier qualification and oversight Strong analytical, decision-making, and technical judgment skills Proven ability to influence stakeholders and act as a senior technical authority Preferred Qualifications: Lead Auditor certification Experience with nuclear programs, pressure equipment, or other regulated industries Familiarity with IFS quality module or similar ERP systems, SharePoint, and Copilot Experience supporting customer audits and regulatory inspections What we give YOU!
