Pay Range: CAD 70-80/hr Primary Skills: 1. Move it MFT, File transfer protocols SFTP, FTPS, and FTP. 2. SSH/SFTP/ SSH key Role Requirements: Technical – solid understanding of the following: 1. MFT systems and how the systems move data both internally and externally. Clint uses MOVEit Automation 2. SFTP landing zones uses by companies as a landing zone for file retrieval. Client uses MOVEit Transfer, so understanding of this tool is an asset. 3. File transfer protocols SFTP, FTPS, and FTP. 4. SSH/SFTP and how the SSH key pairs work. 5. File encryption algorithms and how the key pairs work. Client using PGP, so understanding of this tool is an asset. a. Tools used that allow connections to servers with an SFTP client. Client uses Vandyke’s VShell. b. How to setup connection to Vshell. c. How virtual routes work. d. File system security and permissions required. 6. Logic constructs such as “if-then-else statements”, “for loops”, “and/or” statements. 7. Willingness and ability to produce meaningful documentation as needed. Soft skills 1. Able to communicate effectively with different stakeholders including IT, Business, and external vendors. 2. Strong problem-solving skills. Able to work through multiple systems and trace issues from source to destination systems through multiple hops, and able to pull all together to get to the root of issues and paint a picture to the stakeholders in non-technical terms. 3. Ability to recognize repeating patterns when failures occur, and recall lessons learned from previous incidents. 4. Able to take constructive feedback on work as everything is reviewed prior to going into production. 5. Attention to detail.
