Class 1 Truck Driver

CAPSTAN Hauling, a diversified, trucking company (a member of LAPRAIRIE Group of Companies) is recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join its growing, logistics team in Grande Prairie, Alberta. Responsibilities: Duties may include, but are not limited to: Haul various bulk commodity materials. Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment. Operate loading and unloading equipment as required. Adhere to daily schedules set out by Dispatch & Supervision. Complete daily paperwork / reporting accurately and on time. Promote CAPSTAN’S safety culture and adhere to HSE policies. Maintain a clean and organized truck. Perform other duties as required. Skills and Requirements: Must hold a valid Class 1 Driver’s License. 3-5 years on/off highway driving experience. Availability to work rotational shifts; including days and nights. Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol clearance. Solid communication skills. Ability to navigate work sites and adapt to daily changes in scopes of work. Acceptable drivers abstract. The driver is responsible for hauling bulk commodity materials and operating loading and unloading equipment. They must also conduct pre-operational checks, maintain accurate daily paperwork, and adhere to safety policies.

Candidates must hold a valid Class 1 Driver's License and possess 3-5 years of on/off highway driving experience. Applicants must also be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and work rotational shifts.
