JOB OVERVIEW The Home Marketing team at Lavazza North America plays a central role in driving brand growth within the Canadian market by leading strategy, portfolio development, and category advancement across key consumer coffee segments. Operating across Retail, eCommerce, and eRetail channels, the team collaborates with Commercial Strategy, Sales, and Global Headquarters to deliver innovation and long-term category leadership. The Marketing Manager - Home (Canada) sets and executes the strategic direction for the Home category in Canada, with accountability for category vision, portfolio assortment, new product development (NPD), pricing guidelines, shopper selling stories, and national performance. This role leads cross-functional planning with Sales, Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Commercial Strategy, and Global Headquarters; establishes priorities and success measures; and guides junior team members or project contributors. The manager translates shopper, market, competitive, and syndicated-data insights into portfolio choices, launch plans, activation strategies, and recommendations for senior stakeholders. Work location: Toronto, Canada Work model: Hybrid Travel: Up to 40% within Canada and as required for North American or global meetings Pay transparency: $95,000-105,000 CAD with a 20% annual bonus KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Lead the Home Canada category vision and strategic roadmap using shopper, market, competitive, and syndicated-data insights. * Translate category trends and performance into prioritized growth opportunities, portfolio objectives, and recommendations for senior stakeholders. * Own portfolio strategy, assortment architecture, category roles, and national online and offline assortment guidelines. * Build annual selling stories and define direction across product, price, place, and promotion (4Ps) for Retail, eCommerce, and eRetail channels. * Define pricing frameworks, promotional strategy, volume ambitions, shopper key performance indicators (KPIs), and performance benchmarks aligned with business targets. * Establish success criteria, milestones, priority rankings, and performance reviews for existing products and new product development (NPD) initiatives. * Lead the end-to-end NPD process with North American platform, Supply Chain, Demand Planning, and Commercial Strategy partners to deliver on-time, in-full launches. * Oversee national customer activation analysis, below-the-line tools, dashboards, and scorecards to improve return on investment and execution effectiveness. * Partner with Brand, Public Relations and Events, Sales, and channel teams to maintain consistent messaging and retail-calendar execution. * Serve as the Canadian Home category liaison to Global Headquarters while providing direction, prioritization, and mentorship to project contributors. PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience. * 5+ years of experience in category management, trade marketing, shopper marketing, ideally within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry. * Experience leading cross-functional projects or product launches. * Experience analyzing syndicated market data, shopper insights, financial targets, or performance dashboards to produce business recommendations. * Experience presenting category performance, strategic recommendations, and selling stories to senior stakeholders or customers. * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint, including analysis, dashboards, and executive-ready presentations.
