We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The Logistics Coordinator will manage the efficient flow of goods throughout the company's supply chain, from the receipt of raw materials to the delivery of finished products to customers. This role will collaborate closely with transportation partners, suppliers, warehouse teams, and various internal departments to ensure timely, cost-effective, and reliable distribution. Main Responsibilities: Manage the end-to-end logistics process, including transportation and warehousing. Coordinate with transportation providers to arrange for timely delivery of goods. Communicate promptly with supply chain partners on any logistics matters. Monitor shipments and proactively update stakeholders on issues and delivery status. Collaborate with warehouses to ensure accurate inventory levels and efficient product distribution. Proactively identify and resolve logistics issues to minimize disruptions. Support cross-functional teams, including customer service and supply chain, to ensure that logistics processes are optimized to meet customer needs. Analyze logistics data to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize operational efficiency Prepare logistics reports and key performance metrics. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies related to transportation and warehousing. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts that enhance logistics performance and streamline operations. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent certificate in International Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in logistics, supply chain management or related field. Extensive experience managing rail, intermodal, over-the-road (OTR), and sea freight operations. Solid understanding of export and import customs clearance oper ations. Strong knowledge of Incoterms and their practical application in global trade and logistics operations. Proven ability to think critically and quickly identify root causes of issues. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Clear, effective verbal and written communication skills. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel Benefits Competitive salary Comprehensive health benefits. Employer-sponsored RRSP program.
