About

Leading Manufacturing Group Inc. was founded by Lee Gottschlich in 2010. Drawing on an extensive history in the industry, a Vermilion tank facility was designed and erected to optimize the fabrication process, and experienced staff were brought in to all areas of the organization including a strong Sales presence in downtown Calgary. Soon after, a finishing facility was added to the Vermilion shop. Initially operating out of a trailer in Nisku while the Vermilion shop was being built, the administration team expanded into an office building with a prep shop attached in 2012. The Nisku shop now handles all of the plate preparation prior to heading to the fabrication facilities, as well as many of the day-to-day administrative operations of the company. A Battleford fabrication facility was added in 2014, reintegrating Lee back into a community that he has strong historical ties with. Since inception, Leading Manufacturing Group has implemented internal programs; became registered members of ISNetworld, ComplyWorks, and Avetta (formerly PICS); received our COR through the ACSA; became CWB certified for structural assemblies; and has been certified for the construction/repair/alteration of pressure vessels and process piping.
