They are looking for a dedicated Civil Engineer to join their close-knit team in King City. What You Will Do Day-to-Day Lead Civil Designs: Execute civil engineering designs specifically for residential and commercial land development layouts. Deliver Technical Assets: Prepare essential project deliverables, including detailed grading plans, servicing blueprints, technical specifications, engineering reports, and tender packages. Design Core Infrastructure: Own the structural design of critical site features, covering stormwater management systems, site servicing, drainage, and septic systems. Collaborate Across Teams: Coordinate and integrate project inputs from cross-functional partners including architects, surveyors, urban planners, and general contractors. Navigate Regulatory Approvals: Act as a key point of contact to liaise with Ontario municipalities, conservation authorities, and utility providers to secure necessary permits. Ensure Compliance: Keep all designs fully aligned with provincial standards, local municipal guidelines, and the Ontario Building Code. Provide Site Support: Conduct regular site visits and field inspections to monitor construction milestones, resolve unexpected field changes, and answer design RFIs. What You Bring To The Team Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. Professional License: Current, valid Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Ontario. Industry Background: Strong foundational experience in land development (residential/commercial design) or construction engineering. Software Mastery: Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D for land grading, servicing, and stormwater design. Approval Process Knowledge: A clear understanding of Ontario municipal approval workflows and engineering protocols. Mobility: A valid Ontario driver's licence and a reliable vehicle to travel out to active project sites. Asset: A PMP certification is highly valued but not required.
