NOW HIRING | MECHANIC HELPER | GRAFTON, ONTARIO,CANADA Position Title: Mechanic Helper Location: Grafton, Ontario, Canada (Onsite) Employment Type: Full-Time Permanent Compensation: CAD $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, based on experience Start Date: Immediate Interview: In Person Vacancy: This is an existing open position Role Overview Our Client is a well-established heavy machinery company based in Grafton, Ontario, seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined Mechanic Helper to join their team. The successful candidate will assist with the maintenance, dismantling, and handling of heavy construction machinery and equipment in a hands-on, outdoor industrial environment Key Responsibilities Assist mechanics with basic maintenance, repairs, and servicing of heavy machinery and construction equipment. Support the dismantling and handling of equipment including excavators, loaders, compactors, and similar machinery. Use basic hand and power tools safely under supervision. Assist with inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and routine maintenance tasks. Help with loading, moving, and securing machinery and equipment as required. Maintain a clean and organised work area at all times. Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and guidelines. Required Experience & Skills Previous experience working with construction machinery, heavy equipment, or in a mechanical environment is required. Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand and power tools. Physically fit and comfortable working in an outdoor and industrial environment. Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Prior mechanic, heavy equipment, or machinery maintenance experience is a strong asset.
