Role Description: The English Writing Teacher will deliver engaging, structured lessons that help students improve grammar, composition, critical thinking, and overall written communication. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and teaching materials, leading classroom instruction, assessing student work, providing constructive feedback, and tracking progress. The teacher will communicate regularly with learners and, when applicable, families or guardians to discuss performance and learning goals. Additional duties may include participating in staff meetings, contributing to curriculum development, and supporting a positive, inclusive classroom culture. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Richmond and Vancouver, BC. The ideal candidate would need to travel between two campuses. Qualifications: Relevant teaching certification or credentials, and a degree in Philosophy, English, Literature, or History. Experience teaching English writing is required. Candidates should possess strong English Teaching and Teaching skills, with a focus on writing instruction. Candidates should possess skills in Lesson Planning and Education to design effective, learner-centered lessons. Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for interaction with students, colleagues, and families.
