Ocean/Air Operation Coordinator

AWOT Global Logistics (Canada) Corp. is hiring an Ocean/Air Operations Specialist to join our fast-growing team. This role is ideal for candidates with basic to intermediate knowledge of global logistics who thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Coordinate ocean and air shipments from origin to destination. Prepare and send daily pre-alerts. Process billing and dispatch freight. Communicate with clients, carriers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations. Support day-to-day logistics activities while maintaining accuracy and excellent customer service. Qualifications 1+ year of experience in global freight forwarding, preferably with a freight forwarder or in-house logistics team. Co-op, internship, or part-time experience will also be considered. College diploma or bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to prepare professional and accurate emails for clients, vendors, and internal teams. Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Basic to intermediate negotiation skills and financial awareness related to logistics services such as trucking and warehousing. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. Benefits Permanent full-time position. Salary review upon successful completion of the 3-month probation period.
