*General Accountant* A leading multinational company is looking for an experienced General Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years' experience in accounting and finance functions. *Daily responsibilities include but not limited to:* * Handle full cycle Account Payable * Perform weekly / monthly bank reconciliations * Maintain general ledgers and bookkeeping * Prepare Government Remittances, including GST /HST returns, Source Deductions and WSIB Reports * Record financial transactions accurately and reconcile internal loan transfers * Prepare monthly Financial Reports and variance analysis * Assist controller preparing audit documentation and support audit procedures * Other responsibilities as required by management. *Requirements* * Bachelor?s degree in business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline * Minimum 3 years accounting experience * Cantonese or Mandarin considered an asset * Strong interpersonal and communication skills * Self-motivated and self-directed * Strong attention to detail *Salary will vary according to previous work experience level and skills* *Benefits:* * Dental care * Extended health care * Life insurance * Company events * On-site parking Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year Benefits: * Company events * Dental care * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking Work Location: In person
