Responsibilities: * Prepare in-depth monthly review of business financial results, while also highlighting the performance of all key operational initiatives and business risks/opportunities. * Leverage data to develop meaningful and innovative reporting that will deliver insights that enhance business decisions. * Work closely with accounting to improve the overall efficiency of the finance organization as well as improve visibility and depth of understanding of all key financial metrics. * Support the development and continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives. * Support annual financial planning process, quarterly and monthly financial forecasts, and ongoing analysis of actuals versus prior periods, plan and/or forecasts. * Support the development of an LFL capital plan supported with business cases to ensure future investments are aligned with strategic priorities and are delivering strong returns. * Establish and maintain strong relationships with business leaders across LFL to identify their needs and seek a full range of business solutions. * Manage and assist with various ad-hoc projects, as assigned. * For the right individual, this position also includes the opportunity for future growth and advancement within the company. Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. * An accounting designation (CPA) is required. * Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial analyst role—preferably in a retail environment. * Strong programming skills (SQL required; Python, R) is an asset. * Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau). * Possesses a collaborative work style, is flexible, highly organized to ensure tight timelines are met. * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment, and manage multiple priorities with finesse, discretion and confidence. * Excellent people skills, outstanding communication skills, sound-judgment, and leadership. * A dynamic, experienced, detail-oriented individual with a high energy level and a positive attitude.
