Lerners is seeking a Systems Technician to support the Information Technology team in the Toronto, Ontario office. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience working in a similar position. The primary duties will be to respond and support technical issues submitted to the Help Desk. This is currently a full-time, in-office position requiring attendance in the office five (5) days per week. As business and staffing needs evolve, hybrid work arrangements may be considered in the future. The deadline to apply is September 21, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. Primary Responsibilities * Responding to technical issues submitted to the Help Desk and acting as a first point of contact for employees within the Firm requiring assistance and logging them in the Help Desk Ticketing System; * Provide friendly and professional Help Desk service; * Documenting all incidents and steps taken through to resolution; * Troubleshooting and identifying problems related to documents, applications, laptops/tablets, network printers and basic network connectivity in both office and home environments; * Troubleshooting and identifying issues with mobile devices, as well as assisting with initial configuration of new mobile devices; and * Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned on an as-needed basis. Qualifications * Minimum 2 years’ experience in related field; * College diploma or university degree in information technology, business administration, computer science, comparable work experience and/or a combination of technical certifications; * Professional services or law firm experience would be an asset; * Advanced knowledge of Microsoft’s suite of applications (M365 including OneDrive, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, OneNote); * Experience using and supporting soft video conferencing and collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom; * Proven ability to adapt to changes in technology and implementation of new workflow processes and procedures; * Experience working with an ITIL compatible ITSM tool is an asset; and * Excellent customer service. Working Conditions * Rotating after hours/weekend support schedule (compensated); * Sitting and standing for extended periods of time; * Lifting and transporting of heavy to moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals; * Works autonomously on day-to-day matters, establishing own priorities but adhering to firm operating policies and procedure How to Apply Interested candidates should submit an application including an updated resume and cover letter to our career portal.
