Job summary
LeverageTek is actively seeking an Azure Developer for a one-year term position with its Ottawa based customer. Work Location Remote Security Requirement Must be eligible for Reliability Key Tasks Design, develop, and maintain enterprise integration solutions using Azure Integration Services, including Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, Event Hubs, and Azure Functions. Develop and support RESTful APIs and microservices using .NET, C#, Azure Functions, and related Azure development frameworks. Implement and manage APIs through Azure API Management (APIM), including policies, versioning, authentication, authorization, and developer portal capabilities. Design and develop event-driven and message-based integration solutions to enable reliable communication between applications and platforms. Build reusable integration services, connectors, and workflows to support enterprise business processes and system interoperability. Collaborate with solution architects and business stakeholders to analyze requirements and design scalable integration patterns and technical solutions. Implement secure integration practices leveraging Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, Managed Identities, and certificate-based authentication. Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) components using Bicep, ARM Templates, or Terraform to automate deployment and configuration of integration services. Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions to support automated build, testing, and deployment activities. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration, API, and application issues across development, testing, and production environments. Optimize API performance, scalability, reliability, and security through proactive monitoring and tuning. Integrate on-premises, cloud, SaaS, and third-party systems using enterprise integration patterns and Azure services. Participate in code reviews and promote development best practices, coding standards, and secure software development principles. Develop and maintain technical documentation, API specifications, integration architecture diagrams, and operational support procedures. Support application modernization and cloud transformation initiatives through the adoption of cloud-native integration and API technologies. Key Qualifications 3+ Years with Azure services deploymnets & testing CI/CD. Proficiency in programming languages (C#, Python, or Java) and automation frameworks. Microsoft Azure (Logic Apps, Event Hubs, Event Grid, Functions, Key Vault, Service Bus). Qualifications ALM & CI/CD: Azure DevOps (Boards, Pipelines, Repos, Test Plans), GitHub Actions Automation Frameworks API Testing Tools: Postman, SoapUI, ReadyAPI Database & Analytics: Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL, Advanced T-SQL queries Languages: C#/.NET, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. Hands-on experience executing tests within an active Azure Cloud Architecture. Assets Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or ISTQB Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer. Requirements
Requires 3+ years of experience with Azure deployments, CI/CD, and proficiency in C#, Python, or Java. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is required.
