We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Inside Sales Specialist to join our team and help grow our business across Eastern Canada. In this role, you’ll build relationships with customers, identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and help customers find the right safety products and solutions for their needs. You’ll work closely with our Field Sales and Customer Service teams to provide a seamless customer experience from the first conversation through to the sale. Experience in safety, industrial, healthcare, technical sales or B2B product distribution is an asset. French language skills would be a strong advantage. What You’ll Do Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, understanding their needs and identifying opportunities to grow their business. Generate new business through inbound and outbound calls, lead generation, follow-up and proactive account management. Qualify leads, uncover customer needs and move opportunities through the sales process from initial contact to close. Use upselling and cross-selling strategies to grow existing accounts and achieve sales and revenue targets. Prepare quotes, proposals and bids and follow up with customers to close opportunities. Work closely with Field Sales, Customer Service and Operations to ensure a smooth customer experience. Embrace a team-selling approach, working collaboratively with Field Sales, Customer Service and Operations to identify opportunities, share customer insights and support the overall sales strategy. Be comfortable sharing leads, opportunities and customer relationships with the broader sales team, recognizing that success is a shared effort. Maintain accurate customer, lead and opportunity information in Salesforce CRM, including managing an active and healthy sales pipeline. Identify opportunities to expand profitable business and support inventory management by working closely with Operations. Stay informed about our products and solutions and confidently communicate their value to customers. Occasionally participate in customer events, trade shows, training, mine rescue competitions and other company activities. Support other sales-related initiatives and projects as required. What You Bring 1-3 years of experience in inside sales, outbound sales, business development, lead generation or account management, preferably in a B2B environment. Experience in fire and life safety, industrial, healthcare, technical products or product distribution is an asset. Post-secondary education is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with professional phone and email etiquette. Comfortable making outbound calls, generating new leads and having conversations with prospective customers. Comfortable working in a team-selling environment, collaborating with others to develop opportunities and achieve shared sales goals. A collaborative mindset and willingness to support team members while also taking ownership of your own sales activities and targets. A customer-focused approach and genuine interest in building long-term relationships. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Comfortable working independently while also collaborating with a broader sales and customer service team. Computer savvy, with experience using Microsoft Office and CRM systems; Salesforce experience is an asset. French language skills are considered a strong asset.
