Il relève des mandats moyennement complexes de façon autonome. PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILITÉS Interpréter et appliquer les lois et règlements fiscaux canadiens. Identifier, analyser et documenter diverses positions fiscales, incluant l’évaluation des risques et la formulation de conclusions appropriées. Participer aux vérifications fiscales, aux différends et aux négociations avec les autorités fiscales. Élaborer et mettre en œuvre des stratégies fiscales permettant d’optimiser les objectifs d’affaires et les occasions de croissance des clients. Offrir des services de conformité et de planification fiscale aux entreprises canadiennes exerçant des activités commerciales aux États-Unis. Préparer et réviser les déclarations de revenus de particuliers, de sociétés, de sociétés de personnes et de fiducies, ainsi que les formulaires fiscaux connexes. Effectuer des recherches techniques en fiscalité et rédiger des analyses et recommandations. Participer à l’élaboration de contenu de formation en fiscalité et agir à titre de personne-ressource ou de formateur(trice) interne. Effectuer toute autre tâche connexe. QUALIFICATIONS REQUISES Maîtrise en fiscalité (M. Fisc.) ou réussite du Programme fondamental d’impôt de CPA Canada (In-Depth Tax Program). De 2 à 3 années d’expérience en conformité fiscale canadienne. Le titre professionnel de CPA est un atout. LANGUES ET CONNAISSANCES TECHNIQUES Excellente maîtrise du français et de l’anglais, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit. Connaissance intermédiaire de la suite Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word et Excel). Maîtrise avancée des logiciels Taxprep, DT Max et CCH. Excellente connaissance de la fiscalité canadienne. Bonne compréhension des principes comptables COMPÉTENCES ET APTITUDES Excellentes habiletés relationnelles et de communication. Forte orientation vers le service à la clientèle. Capacité à gérer le stress, les priorités et la confidentialité. Esprit analytique et esprit d’équipe. Excellentes capacités d’analyse et de résolution de problèmes. MAIN RESPONSIBILITY Apply tax laws. Identify and document various tax positions, including risk analysis and form appropriate conclusions. Participate in dispute analysis and settlements with tax authorities. Develop and implement strategies for clients to maximize business opportunities. Offer compliance and planning services to Canadian businesses with commercial activities in the US. Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts, as well as other tax forms. Produce various tax researches. Participate in tax training content development and act as an internal facilitator. All related tasks. REQUIREMENTS Graduate degree in tax (M. Fisc.), or CPA in depth tax course 2-3 years of experience in Canadiantax compliance. CPA title, an asset. LANGUAGE AND TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE Advanced French and English. Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Advanced knowledge of Taxprep, DtMax, and CCH. In-depth Canadian tax knowledge. General accounting knowledge. GENERAL SKILLS Relational and communication skills. Client-oriented. Ability to manage stress, priorities, and confidentiality. Analytical mind and team spirit. Ability to respect instructions and deadlines. Reliable, organized, and meticulous. Resourceful and autonomous. Ability to adapt and multitask. Candidates must have a graduate degree in tax or completion of the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Program with 2-3 years of experience in Canadian tax compliance. Proficiency in French and English, as well as advanced knowledge of Taxprep, DT Max, and CCH software, is required.
