Job summary
We are seeking a Bilingual (English/French) VOIP Team Manager to lead our IT/VoIP technician team! You will manage day-to-day technical operations, coach and develop the team, and support our clients across Canada and the world. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Delegate tasks to the VOIP technician team and follow up on delegated work to completion. - Supervise the team, review quality of work, and provide constructive feedback. - Provide hands-on technical coverage for team members during vacations and absences. - Polish, formalize, and document end-to-end phone system deployment processes. - Work with the sales team to plan trade shows and marketing campaigns. - Attend customer meetings as delegated by senior management. - Receive priorities from, and report issues to, senior management. - Expand knowledge of 3CX phone system administration. SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS: - Work from our office in Vaughan, Ontario. - Solid technical background in IT support, computer networking, or systems administration. - Experience leading, mentoring, or coordinating a technical team (formal or informal). - Must have strong verbal and written fluency in English and French. - Ability to prioritize, delegate, and multitask. - Deadline and detail oriented. - Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills. - Excellent communication and customer-facing skills. - Must provide a clean Criminal Background Check (CRJMC). - Genuine interest in learning telephony and Linux systems. ASSETS (NOT REQUIRED – WE TRAIN): - Any exposure to VoIP, SIP, or 3CX v20. - Debian OS. - Basic Linux command-line comfort. - Experience writing process documentation or coordinating projects. - CompTIA A+/Network+, ITIL, or IT-related education. ABOUT US: - Our company was founded in 1997. - We serve customers in the public and private sector, from small offices to large multi-site international corporations. - We are Canada’s largest 3CX Phone System vendor. TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT: - Full Time. SALARY RANGE: - $55K to $70K per year, based on skills and experience. BENEFITS: - Healthcare Spending Account. - Free on-site parking. - Business casual dress code. WORKING HOURS: - 5 days per week, 44 hours per week. - Rotating, scheduled additional on-call for after-hours emergencies. - Any after-hours work is paid at a minimum of 3 hours per occurrence. LANGUAGES: - Strong verbal and written English skills required. - Strong verbal and written French skills required. POSITION LOCATION: - In-office, in-person. APPLICATION SCREENING: - We use automated tools, including AI, to review and screen applications for this role.
