Job summary

Lifespan Medical is a private boutique, preventative medicine clinic founded by Dr. Sue Stock, a preventative endocrinologist and functional medicine physician. We are a small, close-knit team of high-performing professionals with a genuine belief that the most important healthcare happens before illness takes hold. Our patients receive one of the most comprehensive annual preventative health assessments available in Canada, combining in-house diagnostics, including: full-body ultrasound, DEXA bone density and body composition scans, mole mapping, advanced blood and metabolic testing, ECG, cognitive assessment, and Fitness testing - including VO2 max. You will be joining Lifespan at an early and formative stage of our growth. You will know the patients well, following them across their health journey from first assessment through annual renewals and everything in between. In a typical week, you will: Conduct comprehensive health assessments, and then lead debriefs with those patients as you interpret results across diagnostics, labs, imaging, and fitness testing. Helping guide those patients on personalized health plans focused on prevention, longevity, hormonal health, metabolic function, and cardiovascular risk. Follow up care with patients between visits, adjusting prescriptions, ordering tests, and responding to other medical concerns. Collaborate daily with Dr. Stock. Contribute to the clinic’s focus on staff development through presenting on topical preventative health issues. What We Are Looking For: Credentials matter, but so does disposition. The clinicians who thrive here tend to share a few things in common: they are curious, they thrive in a team-based environment and they love having a positive impact on their patient’s lives. Formally, we are looking for: Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in British Columbia Master’s degree in Nursing or equivalent Minimum of 2+ years of clinical experience, preferably in preventative, family, or executive health settings Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on patient-centered care Ability to work collaboratively within a team-based environment Interest in and knowledge of wellness, fitness, and nutrition principles is an asset Familiarity with electronic medical records systems What We Offer: A patient panel you will actually know, in a setting where continuity of care is the model, not the exception Daily collaboration with a preventative endocrinologist and a multidisciplinary team that takes the work seriously A clinic that is growing, which means your role can grow with it A Competitive compensation commensurate with experience Ongoing professional development in preventative medicine, functional medicine, and longevity care supportive. How to Apply: Please submit your resume and a cover letter detailing your experience and why you would be an excellent fit for Lifespan Medical.
