Key Responsibilities Installation & Service Assist with and perform installation, service, and maintenance of automatic sliding, swinging, revolving, and all other types of door systems Support the installation of commercial doors (aluminum, steel, glass, wood) and door hardware, including electrified hardware Install and service door operators, sliders, sensors, motors, control boards, actuators, relays, safety devices, restroom control kits, and related accessories Troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical issues with support from senior technicians Perform routine and preventative maintenance on automatic and all types of door systems Planning & Coordination Participate in site visits, field measurements, and job preparation Work alongside senior technicians, project managers, electricians, and site teams Learn to interpret wiring diagrams, installation manuals, drawings, blueprints, and door hardware schedules Documentation & Standards Complete work orders, service notes, and safety documentation electronically through company software Maintain a clean, organized work van and ensure tools and inventory are properly logged and managed. Follow company safety procedures and jobsite standards Represent Limitless professionally with customers and contractors Who You Are 2+ years of experience in automatic doors, commercial hardware, security integration, glazing, or a related trade Mechanically inclined with an interest in learning electrical and electronic systems Comfortable working in the field and open to hands-on learning Willing to ask questions, take feedback, and improve your skills Reliable, organized, and safety-conscious Able to communicate respectfully with customers and site teams Comfortable using basic digital tools (email, work order apps, etc.) Valid driver’s license and clean abstract Nice to Have (but not required) Experience working with any of the following brands: Assa Abloy, Record (Ditec/Entrematic), Horton, Dormakaba/Crane, Stanley, Nabco, Tormax, LCN, Micom, Sigma, etc) Exposure to access control or electrified hardware AAADM Certification (or interest in obtaining it — training support available) What We Offer No on-call requirements — this role offers consistent weekday hours without after-hours standby expectations.
