Job Description Job Title: Material Handler Job Summary The Material Handler is responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load and unload materials and productions within the manufacturing facility. Responsibility Safely operate forklifts to move materials, products and equipment throughout the manufacturing facility Load and unload trucks, trailers, and storage areas, ensuing that materials are handled with care Transport raw materials and packing to production lines and finishes goods to designated storage or shipping areas Empty scrap metal bins as required Ensure materials are properly stacked, secured and stored to prevent damage or accidents Entering shipping and receiving information into applicable computer software and programs as required Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations and other safety standards Academic/Educational Requirements High school diploma or qualification Required Skills/Experience Valid Forklift Certificate 1-2 years operation counterbalance forklifts and other material handling equipment, preferably in a manufacturing environment What Linamar Has To Offer Competitive Compensation Employee Benefits package includes but not limited to, Drug, Dental & Vision etc. Opportunities for career advancement. Requirements
A high school diploma is required along with a valid forklift certificate. Candidates should have 1-2 years of experience operating counterbalance forklifts and other material handling equipment, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
