Job summary
Onsite in Brantford, ON This client is seeking an exceptional Shipping & Receiving Supervisor to lead all shipping, receiving, warehouse logistics, and material movement activities at our manufacturing facility. Reporting to the Production Manager, this individual will lead a small team responsible for ensuring materials and finished goods move safely, accurately, and on time throughout the plant and to our customers. One of the following is preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related discipline. College diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse Operations, Business, or Operations. Professional designation such as CPIM, CSCP, CITT, Supply Chain Canada certification, or an equivalent logistics credential is considered a strong asset. Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience in a heavy manufacturing environment. Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Experience working with ERP systems and warehouse transactions. Experience coordinating freight carriers and transportation providers. Strong understanding of manufacturing material flow. Experience with barcode scanning systems is preferred. Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment is considered an asset.
