Software Engineer II – Full Stack (Angular/React | Python/Golang | AWS) | Remote – Canada Location: Remote (Canada) Schedule: EST Hours Employment: 6-Month Contract Work Authorization: Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident We are seeking a Software Engineer II – Full Stack to join a product engineering team building scalable, cloud-based applications. This is a hands-on role focused on developing modern web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality software in an Agile environment. Required Qualifications 5–7 years of professional software development experience Strong experience with Angular or React (frontend) Strong backend experience with Python, Golang, or Node.js Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar) Experience implementing web accessibility standards (WCAG) is highly preferred Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, testing, and code quality Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Nice to Have Experience with AI-enabled applications or LLM integrations Exposure to LangChain or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) Terraform or Infrastructure as Code experience What You'll Do Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full-stack applications Build responsive and accessible user interfaces Develop backend services and APIs Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, and Engineering teams Participate in code reviews and Agile ceremonies Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments If you're interested, please send your updated resume along with your work authorization, current location, and availability.
