Walshe School requires Full-Time Educational Assistant with the position to begin as soon as possible and will end on June 29, 2027. Under the direction of the Learning Support Teacher, the successful candidate will provide one-on-one and small group assistance for student(s) to help meet the goals as identified in the student's learning plan as well as in-class supports for students with Individual Student Plans (ISPs). Desired Qualifications Include The Following Experience working with students in one-on-one, small group and inclusive classroom settings Demonstrated ability to build relationships with students who require patience and flexibility Experience and training in working with students with different diagnoses from Autism to complex behaviours Experience in working collaboratively with a Learning Support Team Experience or training working with First Nations cultures Physically fit and able to keep up with the demands of working with a student with complex needs Educational Assistant certification and/or Health Care Aide certification or equivalent would be an asset NVCI and/or SIVA training would be an asset. Requirements

Candidates should have experience working with diverse student diagnoses, including autism and complex behaviors, in inclusive settings. Educational Assistant or Health Care Aide certification and NVCI/SIVA training are considered assets.
